BozTec was formed as an R&D company to build components that protect vital parts of the undercarriages of off-road vehicles, specifically the Toyota FJ Cruiser, Tacoma, and 4Runner. The BozTec rear differential skid plate was released for the FJ Cruiser in 2009 followed by skid plates for Tacoma and 4Runner in 2011. The BozTec all-stainless steel CB antenna mount debuted in 2010 and more components are in the works.
